I Heart My New Shoes! 

People who are trying to invent a pill that will make you lose five pounds without any effort have it all wrong. What they need to do is invent a pill that will make you grow an inch, preferably in a location that you specify (for me it would be the legs or waist). Of course if you're really overweight, growing an inch for every five pounds might make it tough to walk through doorways...

In lieu of the non-existent magic pill, there's always heels. But let's face it, as we mature it gets harder and more painful to wear heels, especially the stilletto kind. That's why I love platform shoes. In addition to adding height and diminishing pain, platforms are good for:

-- Fewer embarrasing stumbles.
-- The freedom to attend outdoor events without fear of sinking in the grass.
-- Making your bum look smaller by making your feet look bigger.

And that's why I heart my fashion score of the season -- red patent leather Michael Kors Belinda Quarter shoes! Found mine at the local Macy's. Here's a link to the image on Amazon:
