1. comments about: ....I should wear?
Hi there!
This desn't pertain to your blog, but you asked how to post pictures, here is how I do it:
I find the picture I want, and photobucket it, (or any other photo hosting website should work).
They create a HTML code for your picture.
Then I just cut the code and paste into the body of you blog.
This usually works (sometimes it doesn't with certain pics)
Good Luck, and let me know if you have any other questions : ) !!

A Lot..
I don't know about you, but I feel like I can never have enough scarves. Especially in chilly San Francisco. Here is one by Lucky Brand Jeans, it comes in pink and red, and I like that it's big enough to wrap around like a granny a blanket!

Sweater Love
I love sweaters with just the right amount of detail, but still simple. That way I can wear to work, and when I hit the town with friends. Banana Republic made the a couple of the best styles this winter. Here is one of them, I already have it in two colors!

How come now that all my holiday parties are over, I find a dress I would have loved to wear?!?! What do you think? Should I buy it and hold on to it for next year?

Gifting Idea
A gift that gives back!Check out this cute little bear! He is made by Product(RED), the line that is sold at the Gap. Half of the proceeds from all Product(RED)items go to the Global Fight Against AIDS in Africa. So that means when this bear is getting a hug, someone else will get to feel the warmth...

Yummy!
So this one is more about eating, and not shopping : ) That Takes the Cake is a new cupcake bakery in the Marina (San Francisco). The owner Saralyn, makes tasty, and pretty little cakes that are a great snack after a day of shopping. And they also make great treats to bring to friend and family for those holiday parties!

Goodbye : (
Blueprint Magazine was great. Released by Martha Stewart, it was like Living Magazine, but for the 18-30 age range. It had great DYI articles for apartment decorating, and amazing patterns for making accessories on a budget. But, sadly it was announced that the magazine has gone under, due to low readership : ( The last issue will be the upcoming January/Feburary mag, pick one up for the last bits of fun.

Umm...Uggs??
I always thought Uggs stood for ugg-ly. I know that they are incredibly comfortable and warm, but the design of them has always left me with something to be desired. But I may soon be taking my first steps in the boots. Oprah called them her favorite, and I think they will soon become mine too! The buttons add a great little detail, and the cable texture gives the plain shape a softer flare.

It's that time of year..
the holidays are here, and so are the holiday parties. I have many to attend, and I am trying to find a dress (or dresses) that will be fun, and good for all occassions. It would be great if it was versitile enough to wear to work as well. How about this one? Maybe with some black tights and my leather booties? Or maybe I need new shoes as well? Any excuse to give myself a gift as well during the season!

hmmmm....plaid....
Normally I don't wear plaid. I think it looks cool, like those buffalo flannels that the hipster's wear, and I think it's really cute as school uniforms, but never for me. Until I came across this skirt at Urban Outfitters, it has a great high (but not too high) waist silohette, and the red is just right (not to orange). With a slim black turtleneck, and some black tights and either boots or suede heels, I think I will venture into the world of plaid.

Tights?
I recently have noticed many gals around SF trying the whole 'tights with shorts' look. And I have to say, that not many have been able to do it well. But of course someone as cool as Gwen Stefani looks great! I think the shoes are key, I like how she kept them simple and sleek, and I love her sparkly tank. If I could look like that in tights and shorts, I would try to do the look too!

San Fran Boutique
Many of you San Fran shoppers may already know about this Hayes Valley gem of a store. But I had to give a few kind words about how much I love this place! It has a great selection of established brands and up and coming labels, and the staff is always helpful. Best of all, (for you multi-taskers) there is a full service mani / pedi salon to help with your beauty needs as well! If you can't make it to the store, go to azaleaonline.com to purchase your fashion threads.

In My Dreams!
Marc Jacobs (for Louis Vuitton) keeps doing it every spring for the gotta have it LV special edition monogram bags. I've never been a big fan of the monogram (except for the luggage, cause I want every piece like Audrey Hepburn in 'Charade'), and I didn't even like the Murakami rainbow prints from a few years past. But, now I understand the love. MJ and LV teamed up with contemporary artist Richard Prince, and produced several bags with multi-colors and printed jokes by Henny Youngman. I think it goes without saying that they will all cost a pretty penny (as well as a waiting list), but I look forward to staring at it longingly through the display windows....

LoL!!
Karl Largerfeld is so cheeky! For Chanel's Spring 2008 ready-to-wear, some of the models sported what looked like the alcohol monitoring bracelet that has become the hot look amoung the starlets in LA. Upon closer look, it appears he was actualing catering to the new trend and making cute little Chanel purses to wear around you ankle, or you could use them to decorate your exisiting LAPD issued accessories.

A great way to spend a Saturday
Starting on Friday, (October 12th)there will be an amazing Japanese Fashion Exhibit showing at the Asian Art Muesuem in San Francisco. The exhibition will include: the works of Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo, and new photographs by Hirosho Sugimoto (who has another exhibit currently on display at the DeYoung). My friends and I have already planned our Saturday date with the beautiful garments!
