I feel like the chemicals used in cosmetics are a more imminent danger. I have few qualms about gmo cotton in my t-shirts but am definately more concerned about carcinogens in the makeup i put on my skin every single day. I'd be pretty nervous about any snags and stuff though so it could get kind of complicated when renting dresses with delicate fabrics or detailing. I used to spend a lot more time obsessing over items on eluxury.com but lower-cost fashion is so exciting and abundant these days that it honestly doesn't really matter. Plus, there's always sample sales to get your designer fix.
