Re: DO YOU: buy a handbag for its Label or its Features? - 07/31/08 18:07 PM

I would say its a little bit of both for me. Having been a buyer for luxury leather, I obviously LOVE my labels and have loyalty when it comes to them, however that wouldn't stop me from buying outside of my "brand circle" if it was incredibly functional.

Billion Dollar Babes - 06/17/08 10:06 AM

So almost our entire BH team made it to the sale!!! It was fabulous! I totally scored in the jewelry section. I had the pleasure of meeting designer Mabel Chong(https://mabelchong.com/home.cfm) and purchased an AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS delicate triple chain gold necklace with colorful precious gemstones!! I LOVE IT!

I also met the lovely Lirany Vasquez of Pretty Little Thing NYC(pltnyc.com) and picked up an adorable handcuff love necklace and a flattering pair of filigree and suede woven earrings! You can check both of those items out on her site!

It has only been about two weeks since the sale and I have worn all three items like crazy, and of course have gotten many compliments!!!

Re: Has all of the media attention on eco-friendly fashion influenced your fashion choices? - 05/05/08 07:05 AM

Ok I will be honest, while I do think that the media attention on eco friendly fashion is awesome....I have just jumped on the green bandwagon a few months ago. I know I'm terrible!!! I have started by using adorable cloth grocery totes, however I will say that moving on to eco-friendly beauty and fashion is my next step!!!

Re: Have the Rising Costs of Fabulous Clothes Crunched Your Style? - 03/17/08 17:03 PM

Prices may be higher but when you are paying for quality it actually works out to be cheaper! Think about it, if you purchase something that may be cheaper it probably wont last as long! I am all for spending on basics, now when it comes to fashion, thats a different story. I think it is ok to spend less on fashion, since you are probably going to toss it after the season anyway!!
