SAG Awards - 01/31/08 21:01 PM

I completely forgot about the SAG awards too, but I was able to catch the top 10 best dressed on E! I hate the color yellow, maybe because it doesnt flatter me at all and washes me out, but vanessa Williams can pull anything off. I saw her once in LA and she is gorgeous! I also loved how so many were in blue. It is so striking and is a nice change from all the red. Marcia Cross also pulled it off with that fire red hair of hers. Teri Hatcher got #1 with her Badgley Mischka dress which was nice, but a little bit of a shock from her. I probably would have respected it more if it wasn't on her.

Re: To Thong or not to Thong? What is the alternative? - 11/29/07 01:11 AM

I like thongs as well because I think panty lines are somewhat gross. However, I do LOVE boy shorts because they can be comfy and sexy at the same time. Lingerie brands I love are Hanky Panky and Cosabella.

Re: Celebs as Designers? - 10/17/07 19:10 PM

It scares me a little the see how Jessica-Simpsony our countrty has become. Not only are celebrities all over the tabloids, television screens, and doing promotions, but why, why ,why do they have to step over their celebrity boundry and enter the designer world when obviously the majority of them have no such talents. I think celebrities use this as a way to market themselves. The first celebrity to do this most likely did well, but we've seen it from everyone by now. What's next? I'm unfazed by the "celebrity designer" threat to the fashion industry because the customer who is really interested in fashion is sophisticated and would take a Marc Jacobs over a Jessica Simpson everytime. However, the few celebrity lines I'm interested in seeing are Kate Moss's TopShop and Sarah Jessica Parker's new line Bitten.

Re: White Skirt in October??? - 10/15/07 19:10 PM

If you have already questioned wearing white in October, then don't bother asking and follow your gut. Personally, I think a white skirt is more appropriate for the spring season, but if you choose to wear one in October, then I agree with Carla on wearing tights underneath. Dressing it up with other fall pieces will make it appear less obvious that the skirt should be worn in the sun. If you worry too much about it, just opt to wearing black or brown.
