There is so much to this site- I could spend hours with fellow shopoholics! I love the blog topics- steal vs sale- and the FJ buzz. This is certainly going on my favorites.

Re: Has all of the media attention on eco-friendly fashion influenced your fashion choices? - 05/03/08 03:05 AM

I am super excited to learn about new fabrics- and pleasantly surprised with some of the eco-friendly designs.
I can totally justify a splurge especially when I am acting environmentally. There are some incredible finds from new designers. Overall- I think it is fantastic that there are such caring individuals that make us look fabulous while we are taking the time to cherish the natural scenery we still can. The best part is that natural fabrics generally are incredibly luxurious and the designers that use them are setting a whole new standard for fashion design.

Re: Have the Rising Costs of Fabulous Clothes Crunched Your Style? - 03/17/08 15:03 PM

Prices are higher- there's no denying that. I find if I work on keeping daily expenses in check, I can still buy the season's must haves. I am definitely thrifty and wait for a sample sale as opposed to buying on the spot. I make myself think about the purchase before I pull out my wallet, but I certainly am not willing to sacrifice quality for quantity. I still shop at the same places, it is just more of a "treat" to splurge.
