Re: White Skirt in October??? - 10/15/07 14:10 PM

Hmmmm, first of all, it shows you have taste by even asking this question. What kind of fabric are the skirt and turtleneck made of? If both are pretty much the same weight, then I would go for it (although the-dated, albeit-rule is no white after labor day). The other responses have great ideas about jewelry, etc. Just don't wear a light summery cotton skirt with a sweatery turtleneck.
Have fun!

Re: What "HOT" look this season will be the first to go "OUT" next season? - 10/08/07 04:10 AM

Yes, I agree. While skinny jeans may be "in", they're not "in" my closet. I would venture to say that most "normal" women (not super models) with legs that are a little heavier at the top, find skinny jeans most unflattering. The bell at the bottom definitely helps to balance out my hips!

Help! - 10/08/07 04:10 AM

Ok, somebody help me. I've been asked lately who my favorite designers are and I'm a little stuck. I'm thinking of Ellie Tahari, Diane VonFurstenberg, but oh, they are so dated, and I'm afraid I am too.

I admit, I'm 50-something, but still cute and vibrant and can wear designer styles as long as they're not mini's. ;-)

Can someone suggest their fav's and where they get them? I'm in SF, Ca.

Thanks!
