If both are pretty much the same weight, then I would go for it (although the-dated, albeit-rule is no white after labor day). While skinny jeans may be "in", they're not "in" my closet. I would venture to say that most "normal" women (not super models) with legs that are a little heavier at the top, find skinny jeans most unflattering. I've been asked lately who my favorite designers are and I'm a little stuck. I'm thinking of Ellie Tahari, Diane VonFurstenberg, but oh, they are so dated, and I'm afraid I am too.
