Re: What are you sick of seeing in Fashion? What would you like to embrace in the future? - 12/11/08 16:12 PM

I'm sick of people wearing slobby or "grunge-y" clothes, and I'm sick of those shiny black leggings made of some plastic type of material; I get it, it's "rocker", I just don't like it. My wardrobe always goes in the same direction: nicer, better, and timeless.

Injured by a Thong - 06/27/08 21:06 PM

If it happened to me, I'd sue, too! It sounds like she was really hurt and that type of damage might not be reversible (I don't know for sure). I wonder, however, how the piece of metal (which I'm thinking was a rhinestone or rhinestone casing) went from her backside, traveled up and around into her eye. Then again, maybe it didn't happen while she was wearing the underwear. The lesson: Don't wear undergarments with sharp objects sewn onto them.

Billion Dollar Babes Finds - 06/27/08 21:06 PM

The Black Halo dress is a great buy because it's a nice cut and a classic style! In fact, this dress in any color would be great! I'm not a fan of the vest, although it is very "Kate Moss". I missed this BDB Event, but I have been to a previous one; it seems they have different brands each time, which is fabulous.

Check out Fashion Junkie - 06/05/08 11:06 AM

I've been wanting to go to NYC, the fact that she does shopping tours there is wonderful! I will totally check out the Fashion Junkie website, it sounds great. I love any site that covers fashion AND beauty (my two great loves)!

Re: Would you rent a designer cocktail dress? - 05/05/08 18:05 PM

This is a great idea. It works for "Bag, Borrow or Steal", a website that rents designer bags and fine jewelery and then sells the older items. I think the dress idea is perfect for special occasions, when you want a brand new, fabulous dress every time! I would absolutely rent a designer dress if I found one I liked. In terms of cost, depends on the designer, I'd imagine a range of $100-400.
