To Thong or not to Thong? What is the alternative? | 11/29/07 00:11 AM

Personally, I don't get it: Why does everyone wear thongs when there are other solutions to avoiding panty lines? Why don't women get with the program and at least wear sexy lacy boy shorts?

You know what? I am a thong-aholic because I HATE panty lines. What's worse is having more material riding up my.....when I wear a bikini. My husband doesn't like thongs.. he thinks they are weird. I like the boy short idea! Can you recommend any favorite brands?

What's the problem with thongs? Personally I love them. With the right size and material it feels like you're wearing nothing! The only time I don't wear one is when the pants are too sheer or the dress is too short. My personal favorite are the GapBody wide lace band in black... check them out!

I like thongs as well because I think panty lines are somewhat gross. However, I do LOVE boy shorts because they can be comfy and sexy at the same time. Lingerie brands I love are Hanky Panky and Cosabella.

I think thongs take a little getting used to but work well for me, they're comfy and easy to fit in a drawer or to travel with. Boy shorts are nice but for people like me with a larger behind it's harder that find those that fit well.

Definitely to thong. It's just not worth risking or having to worry about panty lines. I do think that boy shorts are SO much cuter though!

Panty lines are a sure way to bring unintended and unflattering attention. I would rather have someone notice clean lines and a nice fit rather than zeroing in on something negative. So far thongs are in the lead as far as I am concerned when wearing anything that would make lines visible. I haven't tried the lacy boy shorts, do they give a smooth alternative?

I am a to thong-er! I cannot stand panty lines, and when I do wear normal underwear, I'm always checking to see if I am bearing a line. Lacy boy shorts are an alternative, but they have a cut that accentuates/boosts the butt which sometimes creates butt cleavage. Sooo not sexy if you are wearing really tight or thin pants. So, if you do choose the boy shorts, don't choose the cotton ones because they have thicker seams that will show. Go with the seamless lacy ones ;) Honeydew is my recommendation!
