A:
I am inspired by the land and the sea. I am driven by the beauty of the places I have been ...and I love diamonds!
A: Timeless. Q: If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
A: Nina Garcia...Fashion Director of ELLE and judge on Project Runway....she would wear my jewelry well. Q: Who is your favorite new designer, besides your own collection?
A: I love CLU t-shirts....and Phillip Lims new work 3.1... Q: What bag do you lust for this season?
A: Prada pleated satchel. Q: What charitable cause is most important to you?
A: The Sea Shepard Conservation Society. Q: What did you do before you became a designer?
A: I was in high school...I have been doing this for over 10 years!!!! Q: What is your secret indulgence (fashion or otherwise)?
A: Scuba Diving in exotic waters.
Inspired by her travels around the world, Alexa Garner Sidaris designs her jewelry with the feel of freshly unearthed treasures. Her ancient looking medallions, tribal tusks and mythical evil eyes serve as great conversation pieces that perform double duty as talismans.
