Q: What inspires you to design?
A: It could be anything from a film, to my mother, to a painting that I love. Every time it is something new. I tend to build small little obsessions, and then a world around them; That is usually how I come up with my designs.

Q: What one word best describes your designs?
A: Sensual

Q: If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
A: I love Kate Moss, but then again who doesn't. She is so sexy, so beautiful, and so cute. She reminds of a present day Brigite Bardot.

Q: Who is your favorite new designer, besides your own collection?
A: New, I don't know. I guess the Proenza boys. However, Karl Lagerfeld is my idol. I think he's close to genius when it come to fashion.

Q: What bag do you lust for this season?
A: I really love the Nancy Gonzales croc bags. I especially like the Silver one.

Q: What charitable cause is most important to you?
A: A charity called Peace Games. Peace Games empowers students to create their own safe classrooms and communities.

Q: What did you do before you became a designer?
A: Photography

Q: What is your secret indulgence (fashion or otherwise)?
A: My not so secret indulgence is shoes. I love them!!!! I have lots of them, probably more than 100 pairs, and the way I tell myself its ok, is that since I am a designer, I am not really spending the money on clothes.
