The Lori Leavitt Collection defines absolute style, individuality and artistic design and is the lifetime vision of Lori Leavitt, founder, designer and chief executive officer. With an eye for beauty and inherent creative vision, Leavitt’s designs focus on one-of-a-kind vintage pieces with a hint of modernism.
The passion behind Leavitt’s collection stems from her childhood love of rummaging through her grandmother’s jewelry box. It was during these treasured times that she first developed a taste for jewelry inspired by the 1900-1920s. Her passion for finding rarity among the various jewels and baubles grew as she sought out new additions for her collection. With her artistic eye, Leavitt redesigned these vintage finds, adding a modern and personal touch to each piece – resulting in timeless, classic designs destined to be passed from generation to generation.
Launched in 1995, the Lori Leavitt Collection immediately graced the pages of the most influential fashion magazines, including W Magazine and Vogue, and received a loyal following of Hollywood’s top celebrities and stylists. Leavitt’s passion evolved from a vision into a flourishing business and in December 2006, she partnered with the H.E.L.P. Malawi Foundation to design the Panthera Collection. Celebrating the Panthera Collection launch, Mena Suvari, Lubov Azria and Lori Leavitt hosted a fundraising event at the MAXAZRIA boutique in Los Angeles, California in April 2007. All profits from the collection benefit the foundation.
Over the past twelve years, Lori Leavitt has succeeded in building an impressive collection that tailors itself to the modern woman and is introducing Lori Leavitt for Men as part of her Fall 2007 line. Designed for the stylish man about town, the collection consists of vintage cufflinks and necklaces and explores new combinations, rare woods, vintage poker chips, and variations of vintage chains. Above all, it is a collection focused on personal intuition and inspiration for the man who defines his own style.
Thanks to Leavitt’s focus on bangles, a personal favorite for their effortless chic feel, the Duet Collection was created. This collection launched for Fall/Winter 2007 consists of either two gold or two silver bangles that embrace a timeless piece in its core.
With a hint of the past and touch of the present, the Lori Leavitt Collection will continue to evolve into one of the most sought after collections. Her passion continues to climb as she embarks on a personal journey, unveiling a new story with every design – creating pieces that will only become more beautiful with age and represent a past, present, and future story.
