What began as a passion for knitting and the need for original holiday gifts has blossomed into a stylish and whimsical collection of unique handbags that are handmade in Mill Valley, California.

At first, Sarah Oliver only made handbags for her family and friends. They received so much attention that she soon began selling her collection at trunk shows. It didn't take long before retail locations took notice and started selling her exquisite bags.

As demand grew, it became impossible for Sarah alone to produce enough bags. So Sarah turned to a local retirement community and found a group of talented knitters capable of producing the high quality bags that Sarah's customers expect. With needles clicking and yarn flying, the nimble-fingered ladies from The Redwoods Senior Community have become the backbone of Sarah's company.

Every sarah oliver handbag is personally designed by Sarah, before being lovingly hand knit at The Redwoods and then finished by Sarah. We know you'll treasure these one of a kind creations!
