Q: What inspires you to design?
A: Manhatten--I grew up here and the pace of this city sustains me.

Q: What one word best describes your designs?
A: date-worthy

Q: If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
A: Jackie O circa 1978...when she went to Studio 54

Q: Who is your favorite new designer, besides your own collection?
A: Are you serious?! Right now I am way to busy working on my own next collection to pay attention to anyone else.

Q: What bag do you lust for this season?
A: a vintage Birkin--my husband surprised me with it years ago when we were just dating.

Q: What charitable cause is most important to you?
A: breast cancer-I've lost too many loved ones to this awful disease.

Q: What did you do before you became a designer?
A: worked retail at the Polo/Ralph Lauren mansion behind the antiques counter.
