Q: What inspires you to design?
A: My passion for design is driven by love of fabric, texture, and prints. I love translating vintage details and giving them a modern twist. My need for newness pushes me to find the next way to evolve my collection.

A: Inventive.

Q: Who is your favorite new designer, besides your own collection?
A: Vena Cava

Q: What bag do you lust for this season?
A: I am not really an “IT” bag person. Shoes, however, are a different story. I’m obsessed w/ my new Olivia Morris boots!

Q: What charitable cause is most important to you?
A: As an owner of two adorable Cocker Spaniels Winnie and Rudy, I support a number of local (New York City) animal charities.

Q: What did you do before you became a designer?
A: Have always been. There was no “before”.

Q: What is your secret indulgence (fashion or otherwise)?
A: I guess it’s not a secret if I answer the question but truth be told, I love furniture design. You will often find me searching and shopping on www.1stdibs.com until the wee hours of the night.
