Stripes is the brainchild of local Angeleno and shoe aficionado, Wendy Goldman. Her passion for fashion began at after college when Wendy was offered a position with retail giant, JC Penney as a buyer and merchandiser and was responsible for several divisions within the store. With this valuable experience, Wendy later joined another power company, Mattel in and worked on the multi-billion dollar brand Barbie, responsible for promotions and marketing campaigns.

With many years of retail marketing and promotions experience under her belt, Wendy decided to leave the corporate world to follow her dream – to start her own business. Stripes was born out of the desire to open a fun and comfortable environment for customers to shop for what they love most… shoes and accessories. Stripes offers a variety of unique, hard-to-find brands as well as the latest styles from well-known designers. You’ll love the relaxing atmosphere and friendly customer service--if don’t have the size or color you want they will do everything possible to find it for you! One thing is for certain, you’ll find what you need, without having to venture far!
