TG170 opened in 1992. It was the first boutique in the Lower East Side and there wasn't even a Nolita yet! It started as an art studio and evolved into the store as we met more and more local designers who wanted to sell their clothes at TG170. The concept was to get new designers the exposure they needed and have fun while doing it. The store is a way to be connected to creative people.

TG170 sells clothes by young and more well-known designers that we like. We don't care about trends so much. We like interesting shapes, silhouettes, clean lines, beautiful fabrics, prints, lots of colors and good quality. We buy interesting clothes for our customers and try to make the shopping experience a fun time. That's who we are!
