Christmas in Denver
Larimer Square at Christmas Larimer Square is a section of LoDo (lower Downtown) that has some reall cool shops and restaurants. During Christmas, they string lights over the street- the entire block is beautiful. This is my favorite way to Christmas shop- start with coffee and little yummy, do some shopping, have dinner and drinks! Too fun! There are five amazing boutiques on this block. My favorites are Square 1 (for denim), Violet, and Octane (for men and women).Loft 22 just opened- I have high hopes! -November 7, 2006 Trip Advisor

Loft 22
When sisters Brittin and Kelly Asbury were little girls they would pretend that they owned their own boutique. This past November their childhood dream became reality with the opening of Loft 22 on Larimer Square. Only a few short months after opening their doors, Loft 22 has generated a buzz among shopping sophisticates as the best new place to find hip contemporary fashions. Some of the lines you'll find include: BCBG, Kenzie, Laundry, French Connection, Bilingual, Voom, Butterfly Dropout, Sin, Scrapbook, and Mary Green. I had a chance to chat with Brittin and Kelly and here's what they had to say about Loft 22. TWID: How did you decide on the Larimer Square location? Brittin: Kelly and I are originally from Steamboat. We really loved the energy and charm of Larimer Square and felt that the contemporary, urban look of our store would fit in well in the downtown neighborhood. TWID: What's it like to run Loft 22? Kelly: We each bring different strengths to our business. I handle a lot of the marketing and financial aspects on the business side, while Brittin offers her expertise in design and marketing on the creative side. So far, it has been a great combination! TWID: Describe the vibe at Loft 22. Brittin: Fun, upbeat, sophisticated, but also a little funky. All the time we hear, "This store reminds me of a store in LA", or "This store should be in Greenwich Village". TWID: What is it like to own a boutique in Larimer Square? Kelly: The block itself is so unique with its historic buildings and mix of shops and restaurants. There are so many fun events and we love the camaraderie we have found among the Larimer Square merchants and management team. It is such a great neighborhood to be a part of. TWID: What's hot in fashion this Spring? Brittin: Anything yellow, trouser style jeans, funky bright patterns, and bold accessories. TWID: What's your favorite item in thes shop? Brittin: We have six different Lalicious Body Butter and Body Sugar Scrubs. I love the Coconut Cream scent, but they are all pre
