Magazine Addict
I admit it. I'm addicted to magazines. Not just fashion pubs, I devour almost anything with pictures and print that keeps me in touch with what's going in the world: fashion, home, business, celeb, travel, news, etc.. Maybe it's because I travel a lot for business and magazines are so portable. Regardless, that brings me to my point about BrandHabit...
This sites rocks my world! BrandHabit answers a huge need for me: getting rid of all those old issues of magazines and my half-attempt at organizing my "where to shop" clippings into a useful file.
OK, you know how some magazines will have a little section about some city, town or island that says "insider's guide: where to stay, where to eat, where to shop"? Well, I always think "I'm going to want this info, some day, when I'm visiting "x" city/town". So I either keep the entire magazine, or tear out that section... or lately, if it's a city I frequent, I put it in my PDA under "shopping".
Yeah!! BrandHabit means I can clean out that stash of magazines and clippings, which I somehow never seem to find when I need anyway. Now, when I'm getting ready for a trip, I'll just go on BrandHabit and look up the places I'm about to visit, print out the page(s) and "voila" I've got a current list of shops. I can optimize the few moments I have between business meetings by visiting shops on my list, instead of hoping I'll stumble upon something interesting on the way back to the hotel.
Hi Anne01,
I am excited that you have found BrandHabit! A friend of mine just pointed out this benefit of BrandHabit... no more magazine collections!
Indeed, when you land in a new city and don't know where the cool shopping areas are, just type in some of your favorite designers and you will get a list of the best stores in town. Thanks for commenting on this!
