Wide Leg Jeans

At a soaring 5' 2'' I totally thought I could not pull off this trend. Low and behold my friend bought me a pair of Seven for all Mankind Dojo wide legs in NY Dark and I fell in love. Sure I need to get them majorly altered but they will look adorable with heeled sandals or wedges.
In excitement over the Dojos I just had to have another pair so I ordered a pair of Lofli Bluebell Trousers. They are sold out just about everywhere but I found them on sale at active endeavors. Just my luck because they fit PERFECTLY.
What do you all think about wide legs? And what are your favorite items to pair with them?

I love wide leg pants. Skinny jeans are fun and chic, but wide leg pants look are so versatile. Dress down with a cute pair of Pumas or Tretorns, perhaps some flats or dress up with some pointy flats or open toe wedges. High waisted wide legs are my favorite. With a black turtle neck and red pointy patent leather flats with gold hardware from BCBG, I'm classy broad.
