Tights?

I recently have noticed many gals around SF trying the whole 'tights with shorts' look. And I have to say, that not many have been able to do it well. But of course someone as cool as Gwen Stefani looks great! I think the shoes are key, I like how she kept them simple and sleek, and I love her sparkly tank. If I could look like that in tights and shorts, I would try to do the look too!

I noticed A LOT of people were doing the tights with shorts look in Paris last year when transitioning from summer into fall. My friend says they did it in Italy too. The women I saw totally pulled it off, but usually with darker tights and boots, not these bootie-esque things Gwen is wearing. I attempted the look a few times last year, but haven't worn it in the states...yet.
